In 2019 PTCI began the Rural Surge initiative to bring Gigabit symmetrical fiber to rural homes and farms throughout the Oklahoma Panhandle. The project replaces over 2,000 miles of outdated cable to provide rural customers the best internet experience possible.

Symmetrical Gig speeds make it possible for rural residents to work, study, play and connect, in an even better capacity than most urban residents in the United States.
