Technology continues to evolve, and PTCI’s mission is to provide progressive, affordable, high-quality communication services. PTCI’s network will transition to VoLTE (Voice over LTE) to provide the best possible service. Be aware that all major carriers, including AT&T, are moving to VoLTE in 2022. This means you must change your SIM card before February 22, 2022 to avoid service interruptions. In addition to this technology upgrade, PTCI’s new network will feature greater, faster data speeds with the best cellular spectrum available and a path to 5G. You’ll see lower latency (less lag when making a call) and better geographic coverage with this new core.
There are several ways to get your SIM card exchanged. PTCI can ship the SIM card to you, free of charge, with step-by-step instructions on how to make the swap. If you have received your SIM card, but need help you can chat with us by clicking the bubble in the bottom right corner, or call 800-562-2556 to get help from a PTCI representative. You will need to chat or call on a different device than the phone you are swapping SIM cards in.
Your device may need to be upgraded. If you do not upgrade these devices, your voice service will end.
Devices not compatible with the new cellular network: iPhone 6, iPhone 6s, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, Samsung Rugby, Samsung S5, Samsung S6, Samsung S7, Samsung S8, Samsung S9, and Samsung S10.
iPhone X and newer are compatible with the new network and only require a new SIM card swap. Android customers will need to contact PTCI to qualify their device at this time.
PTCI is giving $800 off devices through this cellular conversion process.
