PTCI donates to great local causes
Being a cooperative is all about people. It’s about the people we serve and the people we hire to serve them. It is local people serving local people. And that’s why at PTCI we know we have been blessed and that it is important for us to give back to many great causes in our area to improve and enhance life on the high plains.
PTCI believes in our local schools and their students. PTCI donates to school themselves and many extra-curricular activities like robotics, theater, dance, music, booster clubs, after-prom programs, and athletics. We also send two students to the NTCA Youth Tour in Washington D.C. and offer $25,000 in college scholarships each year.
PTCI sponsors many aspects of Oklahoma Panhandle State University. We support the computer team, athletic and rodeo teams as well as the Panhandle State Foundation. PTCI also works to incorporate interns from OPSU into our workforce.
We support our local fire departments, police and sheriff departments, emergency management teams with donations and extra support when affected by disasters. We support local civic organizations like Big Brothers, Big Sisters, the Lions, Elks, Zeta Rho, Tau Omega, and Gamma Theta. PTCI also sponsors Hope Pregnancy Center, women’s crisis centers, and several ministerial alliances in our coverage area.
PTCI helps with financial support for many of the town celebrations throughout our coverage area, support to chambers of commerce, and the Panhandle Regional Economic Development Coalition, Inc. PTCI also supports Oaks of Mamre, OSU Extention, 4-H, conservation districts, Opportunities Inc., and multiple senior citizens organizations.
Without our loyal customers, none of this support would be possible. We are proud to be here to serve the people of the Oklahoma Panhandle and the northern Texas Panhandle.
